They should
I don't think their menu is vegan friendly. Im sure they can customize some of their dishes to suit you.
Thank you Matt for your phenomenal service. From beginning to end my wife and I were very impressed by the customer service of the entire staff, the overview description of the menu, and the food (which was amazingly fresh)! Matt made sure we were taken care of and that my wife enjoyed bringing in her birthday. We highly recommend and will be returning for sure! Ask for Matt, CHEERS!
It was a pretty busy place for a fine dining. The banquet rooms were pretty. Food was delicious except for the Bocconcini do Pesce. It was over cooked or tasteless. We complained about that dish & they offered another appetizer on the house. We appreciated the service.
Great food, drinks and service. Pasta made fresh daily. Try the grilled octopus (pulpo) app! Fantastic bar. For BYOW, corkage fee is $20.
This is by far the most authentic Italian restaurant outside the Perimeter. Chef Jamie and GM Leonardo consistently deliver outstanding flavor and service. Quality wine list. Love watching the fresh pasta being made front and center. Make reservations as they stay busy.
Outstanding - great (I believe) northern Italian. Whole fish is awesome - and limited. Dining in much preferred, but they do use delivery services. Love this place.
Another great dining experience at Il Giallo for us. Veal chop and Chocolate Bread pudding were outrageous!
Love the food, cocktails and the bar staff here. Sharon and Cole are attentive, engaging and knowledgeable. The octopus is cooked perfectly and tastes great. It could use an oil or something to break the texture of the potatoes with the octopus as together they are a mouthful. we had the salmon crudo appetizer special with fennel and yogurt. All elements were delicious but together there was a bit too much going on especially the thick yogurt overpowered the fish. Always enjoy the squid ink risotto. I have not had anything I didn't like the taste of here. My comments are really tweaks. The ambiance is the only thing that makes us hesitate frequenting here more often. It is out dated, drab dark and very brown. It feels like a restaurant in an older hotel or conference center. Everything else is excellent.
We had great service and wonderful food. Definitely will return.
We went to Il Giallo on a Monday. The restaurant had a nice crowd but by no means was it full. My friend and I were hosting a business dinner for 10 guests. Our server was Virginia. She was friendly, eager to please and very engaging. She has a wonderful way about her. Her knowledge of the menu and specials was excellent. She pointed out the items that the restaurant is known for and made recommendations. Menus were received quickly. I ordered both white and red wines but it took quite some time for the wine to arrive.
By far one of the best pasta/Italian restaurants in the area. Staff is always extremely friendly and try to serve you in the most timely manner possible. Now food. That is entirely another review of goodness. Their wide range of options allows for a dish that everyone can find to enjoy. The made fresh in house quality of their food is definitely noticeable. Portions are generous, and you might need a box to go. Desert menus is mindblowing delicious. Definetly a lot to chose from, but just about everything on there will be even better than you last amazing favorite desert. Priced extremely well given the atmosphere, quality, and authenticity of their food.
I was looking for Italian food away from my hotel. I asked the clerk at the Athletic Center. For a restaurant and he recommended the I’ll Giallo. Restaurant was spacious with a welcoming hostesses to great and sit you as you come in. The service was great as were the atmosphere and food. I highly recommended this restaurant if you are in this area. I had chicken Parmesan. Great portion.
Excellent & Delicious Food Superb Service!
The crazy lasagna was great. The fettuccine noodles were so light, best I have ever had.
An early birthday supper with my 12 year old son when the rest of the family were out of town. I alerted the restaurant ahead of time and they were beyond charming and super attentive without embarrassing him. Great food, great service and a birthday treat to top it off! They made it a night to remember.
Il Giallo is one of ,if not the best restaurant in ATL. We have been eating there since it opened. Chef Jamie has curated a menu that is wonderful. I can not imagine anyone with taste buds not falling in Love with their fresh pasta, made in front of you,or their incredible veal Parmesan. We have not only had the pleasure of dining there ,weekly if possible,I even had an incredible Birthday party for 25 people there. Everything was perfect. .Chef Jamie and Leo Maura do an amazing job. I am writing this to rebut some of the ridiculous comments that have been posted by pseudo gourmets Again,
Went here for our 11th anniversary. We didn't reserve but we showed up right when they opened. It was packed by the time we finished our meal, so I would reserve in advance. The bread that they provide is not only baked fresh but crunchy in the outside and soft and warm in the inside, which makes it perfect for dipping into the olive oil and vinegar. You have to try the octopus as an appetizer. Octopus is usually chewy but the way that they prepare it will have your tastebuds and brain spinning. It's tender and flavorful. I still can't believe they were able to obtain this texture for the octopus. Overall the experience was excellent and the prices were not exorbitant. We plan on going back.
Barley included any chicken. Taste like dry rubber. No taste and barley any meat. No sauce for taste. Honestly is like a microwave meal that is frozen for $4. Reviews have to be fake!!! Tricked
My new favorite Italian restaurant and I dont like italian food very much. Atmosphere is elegant with modern furniture and low ambient lighting. Server Jonny was excellent! Their special that night was some kind of vegetarian ravioli which I had ordered and their steak!,seasoned amd cooked to,perfection! Their free, bread is awesome, focaccio bread! Also, their Italian wine [picture below] is the best wine I ever had! My fiance doesnt like wine but he liked it so much we decided to order the whole bottle! Definately recommend this place! We will tbe coming back again
Food was exceptional. Best gnocchi I had my entire life. 4 star due to the wait time of over 20 mins to get service at the table. Since food was spectacular, I plan on giving another shot on the service.
Finally went for the first time. It will CERTAINLY not be the last. Best Italian food Ive ever had in ANY restaurant,in my 56 years. Service was awesome. I was blown away. Veal Parmagiana and Lobster ravioli s were incredible
Thoroughly enjoyed our take-out dinner during the lockdown, everything we ordered was still fresh and hot even after the 30 minute drive home. Fresh flavors were spectacular, portion sizes were very generous, had plenty of leftovers to enjoy the following day for lunch. Thank you to the entire crew, you definitely made our week!
Excellent food, excellent service, prices are a little high, but worth it. Nice bar and beautiful restaurant.
Delicious. Besides being a huge portion, my Fettucine Nere pasta was fresh and tasted great the next day. My husband enjoyed his Waygu, the salad that accompanied it was also enormous. Allison was friendly and attentive. The decor could use some help, but overall it was a great value. The atmosphere was nice, I appreciate the carpet which helps with the noise level. The manager stopped by to see if we enjoyed our dinner. We did.
Great service, nice place to have a nice dinner. But the food are only okay. Clam spaghetti has way too much wine and tastes bitter. Grilled Octopus almost has a chicken texture to it. Tiramisu is way too sweet and too much moisture. What a disappointment.
Consistently excellent. Great fresh pasta. Often has good specials.
I went to dinner here with my mom on mothers day weekend. The atmosphere is upscale, elegant, and stylish. I would suggest you dress up when you go. The service was great- ask to speak with the sommelier for wine suggestions to pair with your food. They also have an in-house pastry chef so the desserts are incredible.I love Italian food and have been to most of the restaurants around Atlanta... this place is the best of them all. Honestly, it isn't even a competition because the food here is so incredible. We will be back (hopefully sooner rather than later)! The restaurant is unassuming from the road, so be careful not to miss it!
I was looking for Italian food away from my hotel. I asked the clerk at the Athletic Center. For a restaurant and he recommended the I’ll Giallo. Outstanding. Visiting from NYC and feel like I know Italian food but man...seriously the best Italian food I've had in a very long time. The pasta is made right in front of you. The servers are attentive and knowledge. Truly superb. All the stars!!!
Food, wine, atmosphere, and service... entire experience was 5 stars. Loved everything!
Great italian style food, excellent homemade Pasta (yes, you can actually watch how it is made) and a nice atmosphere. The service is super friendly, the wine card ist excellent and the dessert are perfect!
Food was excellent. We can’t wait to try everything on the menu. Service was perfect. Not too rushed, yet no long pauses either. We’ll definitely be back!
Great food. Great service. A little on the loud side.
Always had a good time at il Giallo's. We enjoyed the light yet flavorful fresh made Italian pasta a lot. The grilled octupus is my must have every time. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is great.
Probably the best Italian restaurant in the Atlanta area. Never seems to disappoint. Will be back.
I hosted a mid size group surprise party in the bar/lounge area. It was fantastic. The service is beyond excellent! Our party was provided everything we needed above and beyond to make it a success. The food is excellent!
Amazing meal. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great. The Veal parm lived up to the hype and all of the pasta dishes were fantastic. The wild boar cavatelli special was great and their deconstructed short rib lasagna was very unique and amazing. The agniolotti with brown butter, sage and duck was a hit also. Dessert was the perfect ending and the wine and bourbon were both also great. We will definitely be back to try some more menu items.
Warning: This is not a Pizza or Pasta Place, some people think if they serve that type of menu is an Italian Restaurant. il Giallo is an Excellent Restaurant with a Fantastic Menu which includes all the good things you find in Italy. The Wine list includes a great variety of Italians, besides of other fine Wines of the World. Service, Location, Decoration, Ambiance and Service are Number One. This was a Family Reunion and all 9 of us were very pleased.
Wonderful Italian eatery popular with an older crowd, but still modern and very welcoming. Even good for kids. Go to meal is the grilled Octopus app and chicken/veal parm. It's not your typical dish at all. And it's HUGE.
I loved it. I couldn't eat all my tasty food. Good food and atmosphere.
It was totally amazing...was our first time and definitely we will get back
Service here is incredible. Food is great, calamari is the best I’ve had (I’ve had a lot of calamari). But Maurice’s service — exceptional. Great night.
Absolutely phenomenal. The pastas are rolled right there in front of you. Perfectly executed plates of art that are almost too pretty to eat. But eat them you must. The food has the soul of Leonardo da Vinci's grandmother.
We've eaten here before 'on the menu,' but tonight is special. It's December 23 and they offer The Feast of the Seven Fishes (also on Christmas Eve). Three courses to the set menu: Antipasto - mussels, clams, anchovies in tomato broth with ciabatta; Primo Piatto - lobster, Georgia shrimp and marscapone ravioli; Secondo Piatto - baked crab crusted cod. All were outstanding! What a great way to celebrate Christmas. Highly recommended.
Nice bar with lots of drink option. Good service and the food was decent. Note: Vegetarian people call once before you go to see if they have vegetarian options.
Celebrated a birthday with a wonderful dinner! Food was delicious and service was outstanding! The restaurant was very stylist and busy. I would love to come back again!
Granted Valentine is a popular night out- yet the lack of organization caused inconsiderate customer service and a 40 min. wait post reservation time- food was presented in a rushed manner as if to state boldly “ you’re being served with inconsiderable service because we’re slammed” our table seating allowed us to view our plates under the heat lamp causing the lobster to rubber- not returning 😶
Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Sandy Springs, it is known for its fresh pasta which they make daily from scratch, they do not do pizza though, the seasonal menu is varied and interesting, keep room for dessert. Attentive and helpful staff. Extensive wine list. Plenty of parking. Visited multiple times.
Service impeccable! Enjoyed a hearty veal spaghetti along side medium well steak!
The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I expected the food to taste better honestly. Everything seemed to be lacking flavor, for the price I was disappointed. I had the chicken parm, and the other guest with me had the spaghetti and meatballs and the lasagna. Portion sizes are really big.
Looking forward to another memorable experience tonight for this year's Hennessey Lexus employee dinner. This is an encore due to the fantastic job they did last year. Sensational service, food and atmosphere. You owe it to yourself to check it out.
